A weekend writing intensive at the beautiful GR ranch, Post, Oregon that will return established and emerging writers to the page with renewed commitment and inspiration. special focus will be on incorporating place and landscape in your writing.
Just added! University of Oregon archaeologist Dennis Jenkins will give a presentation about Paisley Man and the archaeology of southeastern Oregon on Saturday night.
Friday, August 16
Check-in: 4:30-5:00 p.m.
Evening reception, dinner and welcome reading at log house: 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 17
Continental breakfast in cabins
Workshops at Writing Ranch General Store: 9:00-11:45 a.m.
Activities and/or Writing Time: 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Afternoon workshop: 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Dinner at main house with presentation by Dennis Jenkins: 5:45 p.m.
Sunday, August 18
Communal breakfast at Trading Post: 9:00 a.m.
Final readings and goal setting: 10:00 a.m.
Sack lunch for the road and departure: 11:00 a.m.
Weekend limited to 10 participants to ensure a quality experience.
